Flying J Travel Plaza
This project involved the construction of a
truck/car stop parking lot. It was a private (as opposed to public)
paving project which was very challenging due to a high water
table.

The timeframe was also shortened because the
site was unavailable because of a wet and rainy fall. We solved
the time issue with aggressive scheduling and the introduction
of more men and equipment.
The customer was satisfied with the quality
of the completed project, and we finished on time, despite the
time challenges.

The scope of the work:
- 37,500 tonnes of aggregate was supplied and
placed.
- 30,000 square meters of geo-textile was placed.
- 7,450 tonnes of hot mix asphalt was supplied
and placed.
