Airport Runway

In 2008 ASL PAVING LTD took on a challenging
project involving the resurfacing of the main runway at the Saskatoon
Airport. The work involved removing the old asphalt surface along
with 150 mm of granular.

This was replaced with new granular totaling
42,000 tonnes and 39,000 tonnes of new asphalt. The project was
finished on time and within tight tolerances. The Saskatoon Airport
Authority nominated ASL PAVING LTD for an industry award through
the Saskatchewan Roadbuilders Association.
ASL PAVING won two awards one for "The
Best Large Overall Project" in Saskatchewan and another
award for "Municipal Achievement".
