| Safety Program
ASL PAVING is considered an industry leader
in safety. We operate a comprehensive and well-documented safety
program that is continuously monitored to ensure the safety of
our employees, suppliers, and the general public affected by our
activities.
ASL PAVING was among the first Saskatchewan
contractors to develop a safety program.
_____
ASL PAVING Safety Policy
The main purpose of our safety program is to eliminate or reduce
any potential losses including worker illness and injury that
may occur as a result of the day to day operation of the business.
To achieve this goal we endeavor to involve
the entire workplace from owners, to senior management, supervisors,
occupational health committees, and workers. Management is committed
to supporting the safety program.
There is an active hazard identification, analysis
and control system in place. Regular inspections are conducted
in order to monitor the system and verify hazards have been effectively
dealt with.
Emergency Preparedness Plans have been outlined
in the event the system fails and the organization needs to deal
with emergencies. Investigations of incidents are done in order
to identify where the system failed and make recommendations to
correct it.
Formal training and on the job training are
also an important part of the safety system at ASL PAVING.
